A NEW SEASON COMES WITH CLARITY OF PURPOSE

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”— Isaiah 30:21

One beautiful thing about a new season is that it comes with clarity of purpose. In the previous devotional, we explored some of the pointers or signs that show that a person is about to be launched into a new season, that is, a shift in the realm of the spirit and restlessness. Beyond these, another major sign of a new season is clarity of purpose.

A person may have previously been running without clarity or direction, but when a new season comes, God begins to give them a clear understanding of the need for a change in their life—spiritually, academically, intellectually, and in every other area. This calls for intentional study and the building of oneself in the area God is leading them into.

For example, if a person is appointed as a Special Adviser to a governor, naturally, such a person is about to enter a new season. Wisdom will therefore require that the person builds themselves up to match the position that is coming their way. At this point, God will begin to impart His wisdom and Spirit into such an individual, giving them supernatural insights, ideas, and secrets that can change their lives forever.

Another sign of a new season is when things start happening naturally in your life. This can be either good or bad. For instance, when an individual starts receiving ministerial open doors, business breakthroughs, favour, unusual ideas, and supernatural wisdom, it is a pointer that God is doing something new with such person. On the other hand, when a person starts experiencing disappointments, heartbreaks, loss of a job, and other difficult situations, it may not always mean that the devil is attacking them; rather, God may simply be redirecting their path and showing them that this particular path is not His plan them.

That is why you do not have to kill yourself over any issue of life. The Bible makes us understand in (Jeremiah 29:11 ) that God has a good plan for each and every one of us—a plan to give us a future and a hope. Remember, only God has the blueprint of your life, and He knew you even before you were formed in your mother’s womb.

Beloved, do not give up. It does not matter the challenges or troubles that come your way; do not see them as the end of your life. Rather, go to God and seek to know what He is saying concerning your life and destiny in that particular season.

As you do so, may the Lord help you and give you clarity and divine insight on what to do, in Jesus Name. Amen.

PRAYERS

1. Begin to thank God and appreciate Him for bringing us into a new season.

2. Pray that God will give you supernatural ideas and wisdom for this new season that will change your life forever.

3. Pray for God’s sustaining grace throughout this new season, that you will not grow weary.
